REIT Awards for Excellence 2021

Held at Wrest Point Casino on October 9th, the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania were proud to present their Awards for Excellence to deserving winners. The winners will now be able to nominate for the national awards in 2022.

Since 2007, the REIT has presented the Awards for Excellence in line with the National Awards for Excellence conducted by the Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) to highlight the achievements of Tasmania’s real estate leaders. The Awards are an opportunity for the profession to celebrate its achievements and recognise the most outstanding practitioners at a state and national level. At the 2021 awards First National Real Estate Kingston were awarded Small Residential Agency of the Year.

This award recognises excellence in agency practice in the residential sector, where a single trading entity employs a maximum of 10 people including the principal and where the business entity operates from a single location under its own license.

Three members of the First National Real Estate Hobart & Kingston team were also recognised as finalists across different award categories.

Laureen Wood - Residential Salesperson of the Year Finalist

This award recognises outstanding achievement by individuals in residential sales and is
intended for individuals working as principals, licensed agents or sales consultants; in small,
medium and large agencies; and independent or franchise agencies.

  • Someone who displays commitment to quality customer service. 
  • Ratio of appraisals to listings; ratio of listings to sales; and geographic coverage of agency. 
  • Supports and encourages fellow staff and makes a positive difference.
  • Overcomes challenges and risk management issues.
  • Achieves a point of difference when delivering outstanding service to their clients.
  • Supports and provided leadership to other staff in their agency and the industry in general.
  • Has shown professional development.

 

Nikita Phillips - Residential Property Manager of the Year Finalist

This award recognises excellence in property management in the residential sector and covers individuals working in small, medium and large agencies; and independent or franchise agencies.

  • Someone who demonstrates excellence in property management.
  • Overcomes challenges and risk management issues.
  • Achieves a point of difference when delivering outstanding service to their clients.
  • Displays outstanding service to lessors and tenants.
  • Personally contributes to the success of their agency and fellow staff.
  • Has goals to further develop knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrates Leadership

 

Rylee Clark - Operational Support Award Finalist

This award for excellence recognises outstanding individuals working in operational support positions.

  • Has skills and qualities that make an outstanding operational support professional.
  • Demonstrates Initiative
  • Effectively provides support to fellow team members and has built strong relationships with them.
  • Overcomes challenges and risk management issues.
  • Successfully resolves conflicts.
